Sneaker Mash Up

Halloween is the one time out of the year where we celebrate all the spooky aspects of life. From the classic Universal Monsters to the Zombie love affair today, and all that goes bump in the night, Halloween lets all of us be someone or something completely different from our regular selves. To celebrate, we took a Frankenstein approach to creating our own silhouettes. Deconstructing and stitching them back together piece by piece, these are the monsters we’ve created! The lighting bolt has struck, time to hit the switch and bring these creations to life! Welcome to Sneaker Mash Up!

To start things off, we would like to introduce our first creation, a silhouette we’ve dubbed ‘Cubed’. Taking the parts of three Kanye West designed sneakers, we have brought to life a silhouette that will surely crash every site and cause campout riots worldwide. The Air Yeezy 2, Yeezy 350 and 750 boost together in harmony at last.

Back to the Gump

What if Forrest Gump met Doc Brown? What if Marty McFly decided to run across the country? This Mash Up takes two iconic movie silhouettes and creates a futuristic runner that would send you into the future after hitting 88. The Nike Air Mag and Nike Cortez are a match made in Hollywood heaven, and together they form Back to the Gump. “…And that’s all I have to say, about that.”

NMD Flyknit

This is what happens when you put your competitive nature to the side and create something for the common good. The NMD Flyknit takes one of Nike’s biggest technological advances and combines it with one of adidas’, creating the most comfortable shoe you ever put your foot in. The Flyknit racer upper sitting on top of the NMD boost sole creates the perfect pairing of style and function. A silhouette that caused a merger between two of the biggest sneaker companies on the planet? Yeah, that’s something you would only see on Halloween.

Chi-Town’s Finest

A dynamic duo on the court becomes an unstoppable fashion statement off it. The GOAT, Michael Jordan, and his right-hand man, Scottie Pippen, were true kings of Chicago and the NBA. Bringing 6 Championships to a title-hungry city, these two had the world in their hands and two of the hottest selling silhouettes on their feet. The Air Jordan 4 and Air More Uptempo captures the essence of these two bigger-than-life superstars, and putting them together captures the essence of the Bulls Dynasty.

Tubular Doom-Racer NMD

adidas has been on a winning streak as of late, making sure-fire silhouettes that fly off the shelves instantly. Getting a pair of these sought after silhouettes seem to get harder with each release, but with this creation, it might be damn near impossible! Taking the NMD, Tubular Doom and Tubular Racer, we’ve created a beast that even we can’t control!

Doom Tubular

If you know your silhouettes, this one is right on the nose! The Doom Tubular takes two silhouettes with ‘Doom’ in their name and combines them into the perfect being. The Foamposite Pro ‘Doctor Doom’ and the adidas Tubular Doom is like the actual Dr. Doom and the Fantastic Four teaming up, something that is unlikely to happen anytime soon but would monumental if it happened.

Tinker What-The

The ‘What-The’ concept has been adapted by many silhouettes in Nike’s catalog, but one still has yet to happen. The Tinker What-The takes parts from some of Tinker Hatfield’s greatest contributions to the sneakerworld and combines them into a crazy mess that works well together, just like Frankenstein’s monster. Pieces coming together to create a whole.
